David Arterberry
Lighting
Management | Design | Coordination
I am a lighting designer and creative-technical leader with 15 years of experience across themed entertainment, cruise ships, architecture, theater, temporary events, and large-scale guest environments.
My work sits at the intersection of creative intent and field delivery. I care about how lighting shapes memory, atmosphere, visibility, and emotion, but I also care about how it is documented, procured, installed, focused, maintained, commissioned, adjusted, and trusted.
Across Disney, Carnival Cruise Lines, automotive brand events, theatrical productions, and architectural environments, I have led and coordinated lighting scopes with designers, programmers, electricians, vendors, contractors, engineers, operations teams, and field crews. My goal is always the same: protect the visual intent while helping the team deliver a system that is buildable, maintainable, operationally reliable, and ready for the people who will experience it.

Built across design, management, and coordination.
